Habitat: Warm waters, such as the Red Sea and Pacific Oceans, in sheltered reefs or lagoons

Fun Fact: After the clownfish eggs are laid, the male clownfish guard them until they hatch

Fun Fact: All clownfish are born male. They have the ability to switch their sex, but will do so only to become the dominant female of a group. The change is irreversible

Fun Fact: Female clownfish lay up to a thousand eggs on coral or rocks
